Second Life is a 3-D virtual world that currently has over 6.5 million users and over 20,000 new users joining each day. Big companies life IBM, Dell, Apple and Lacoste are putting time and resources into creating a presence on Second Life.
I have read estimates that suggest a 4 to 5 hour learning curve in order to get your bearings in the Second Life world, but after that you have 6 million users that might be open to hearing about your business.
Keep in mind that, like your first life, pitching and presenting your business to someone before you build a relationship is not suggested.
