I can see exactly what you’re saying about duplicating people. No one person is really doing to duplicate you, but if the systems are set up the same way, at least you know 9 levels deep, your SYSTEM will still somewhat be in place.
The problem i’ve had in the past, and many others is we get a lazy networker on the team who doesn’t follow instructions.
Todd, you may remember this. I was about 4 levels deep, and Mike Choma found me, took me under his wing, trained me, and introduced me to you and Mark Weisner.
The guy that brought me in, didn’t follow any kind of “system”. He had known me for 8 years, and did a stand up presentation at my cubicle during break. Then he brought me in, and we bought leads, and cold called them.
No training, no introduction to the team, no tools, just buy leads and call. Now you can see where the ball was dropped. I was a hungry go getter, so I did it, but there was no duplication.
At least once a month, leaders should go through their organization, look at their downline, call a few people, and introduce themselves. That way they know for a fact, duplication is happening.
